Introduction to Project-GC

Introduction to Project-GC

A Maritime Mega 4 Workshop by juniorwoodchuckhuey

Saturday, August 5, 2017
Time – 11:45 to 12:45pm
Venue: Classroom 2

Project-GC has tons of statistics, summaries and information that can help you plan your next geo-adventure, see how you’re doing, and manage your hides and finds.  What caches near Truro will help me complete my D/T grid?  What caches have the most favorites?  What FTFs have I forgotten about?

Project-GC offers too many features to list, but some popular ones include challenge checkers, profile stats, “best of” lists for caches and cachers with many options. Come and learn about these features.  This session will provide an overview of the free and premium features.

Project-GC can help you make the most out of your next caching adventure.  And it can be used for free by everyone with a geocaching.com account.

About the presenter:

According to Project-GC, at the time of writing this, Hugh Chipman (juniorwoodchuckhuey) has 208 hides, 1579 favorite points, has found 2152 caches and received 7711 logs (giving him a karma of around 3.58).  Perhaps he’ll have completed his D/T grid by the time MM4 rolls around.  When he isn’t hiding or finding caches, he teaches Math & Statistics at Acadia University.  But don’t worry, this session will not contain any formulas!
