Your final destination is The Stags Head historic pub in what used to be the aging cavern of Mr. Keith’s original brewery. One of the oldest breweries in Canada, in a massive ironstone and granite building. A “jewel in the crown” of historical Halifax, Mr. Keith’s brewery was originally built in 1820. In 2000 the site was re-opened to the public as a premiere tourism destination.
